VO01FDMR is an adapter that lets you connect your new aftermarket head unit to the factory amplifier via the RCA outputs. Works when the OEM amplifier receives a low-level signal through a round 6-pin DIN connector, like in many Volvo models.

Amplifier Retention Adapter
If you've installed a new head unit and experience no sound, you might have a factory amplifier in your car. This amplifier usually gets a signal from a different connector than the head unit, which is where this adapter comes in. Simply connect this harness between the DIN connector in your car and the RCA outputs & the remote output, and run the amplifier on the RCA outputs from your new head unit.
