Handy Tool for Installers
The Auto-Connect ATTG is a super useful tool for testing and troubleshooting your car audio system. Whether you're checking RCA cables, making sure your speakers are wired correctly, or using test tones to fine-tune your setup, this little device does it all.
The built-in tone generator lets you send adjustable test tones between 13 Hz and 10,000 Hz straight into your amplifier or speakers, helping you figure out how your system handles different frequencies. Need to check an RCA cable? Just plug it in - if the LED lights up and you hear a beep, the cable is good. If it stays silent, it’s probably time for a replacement.
It also comes in handy for checking speaker polarity. Just clip the included crocodile clamps onto the speaker terminals and hit the Speaker Test button. If the speaker cone moves outward, the red clamp is on the positive terminal - if not, you’ve got the polarity flipped. This makes it extremely useful for tapping into a factory sound system and documenting a wire diagram.
